I am a fully qualified Integrative therapist and Psychosexual counsellor. I completed my initial training as an Integrative Therapist at the Centre for Personal and Professional Development and went on to study Sex and Relationship therapy in an NHS clinic in North England. I am a registered memebr of the BACP.
Throughout my years as a therapist, I have worked with a broad range of clients. Working in a range of settings has given me vast amounts of experience in both long term and short term therapy. As well as private practice, I work as a counsellor for One in Four (a charity providing therapy for adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse) and with clients diagnosed with mild, moderate or severe mental health difficulties at a charity in East London.
My experiences with clients over the past 6 years have been vast and enriching. I work relationally; focusing on creating a safe space to explore painful unconcious processes, unhelpful patterns of behaviour and facilitate long term changes.
My continuous professional development is focused on ensuring that I am equipped to work with a range of difficulties. I specialise on the effects of conflicting societal and familial pressures and expectations, in sexual function, relationship difficulties, experiences of marginalisation and the long term effects of incidents considered part and parcel of life in London.
